Luckily for passengers arriving in Tampa International Airport in Florida, the airport is located only a few miles outside of central Tampa. After retrieving your luggage and rental car, you will want to follow George J. Bean Parkway to West Cypress Street, where you will take a left. This will put you into a busier area, where there are a few gas stations and hotels, in case you do need to make a stop on your way to your final destination.

After following West Cypress Street for 10-15 minutes, follow signs to merge onto I-275 North. The interstate will take you further into downtown Tampa, if you get off the interstate when you see signage for East Zack Street, immediately after crossing Hillsborough River.
